Born 20 September 1968 in Saratov.
Graduated from Stankin Moscow State Technological University with a degree in Computer Aided Design, with a Systems Engineer major;
1989: Founded one of the country’s first computer graphics studios, InformatiKa Marketing Service;
1993: Co-founded MediaArts, one of Russia’s largest communication holdings, specialising in advertising and sports marketing in Russia, and managed it for 12 years;
2005 to 2007: General Director of the Sochi 2014 Bid Committee;
2007 to 2014: President of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Organising Committee and the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Organising Committee;
2014 to 2020: President and Executive Board Chairman of the Kontinental Hockey League;
2015 to 2020: Chief Executive Officer of Gazprom-Media Holding;
21 January 2020: Appointed Deputy Prime Minister by presidential executive order;
14 May 2024: Reappointed Deputy Prime Minister;
Awarded the Order for Services to the Fatherland, 2nd Class, the Order of Friendship, the Order of Honour, the Order of St Sergius of Radonezh, 2nd and 3rd Class, and the Golden Olympic Order;
Married, with two daughters.
