The document was drafted by the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service in execution of a Government instruction and a Comprehensive Acton Plan to prepare for the 22nd Winter Olympic Games and the 11th Winter Paralympic Games of 2014, hereinafter referred to as the Comprehensive Plan. The plan stipulates measures to curb prices for passenger and freight transport, shuttle and taxicab transport, as well as prices for other services.
The resolution approves a list of services, whose prices are subject to regulation in accordance with federal obligations, which were assumed during the presentation of the bid to host the 22nd Winter Olympic Games and the 11th Winter Paralympic Games in Sochi in accordance with the Bid Book, the Government’s Letter of Guarantee of December 28, 2006 and the Comprehensive Plan.
Moreover, the resolution instructs the Ministry of Transport and the Sochi City Administration to sign agreements on reducing (supporting) prices for these services.
