The Government has endorsed Directive No. 485-r of 26 February 2021, which extends the term for entering Russia on the ‘Travel without COVID-19’ mobile application until 1 April 2021. The app is designed for those with a negative result in a coronavirus test while crossing the Russian state border at a number of checkpoints. Previously, the term for using the application was to expire on 1 March 2021.
Citizens of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are allowed to enter Russia via the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Belarus in a simplified process by using the ‘Travel without COVID-19’ mobile application.
The application helps EAEU citizens move between countries while ensuring compliance with the current requirements.
In addition to the information on sanitary and epidemiological regulations in a EAEU country, the application has a list of verified laboratories.
The application allows users to store the results of their tests and QR-codes. Officials can check the test results both visually (by the green colour of a recent test) and by reading the QR-code on any smartphone.
