The decision was adopted following numerous applications to this effect.
Russians whose relatives live abroad and need care
will be allowed to visit them without any restrictions. A relevant directive
was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
In June, despite the quarantine measures that were still in place, this category of individuals was allowed to leave the country on a single exit basis. Now this restriction has been lifted as well. The exemption from the general rule applies, among others, to guardians and custodians.
Relaxations of rules are also being introduced for foreigners. They are permitted to repeatedly cross the border to take care of sick relatives living in Russia.
The decision to relax the restrictions has been adopted following a review of applications submitted to the Government.
