Vladimir Putin instructed the Government to allocate over 1 billion roubles to purchase masks, respirators and gloves.
The state will provide volunteers and socially-oriented NGOs with personal protective equipment against the coronavirus, free of charge. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved the rules for purchasing them.
Following Russian President Vladimir Putin’s instruction, over 1 billion roubles were allocated for this purpose. The money will be spent on purchasing, storing and delivering respirators, protective suits, disposable gloves, hand sanitisers, protective goggles and face screens.
The PPE will be distributed according to requests from the Association of Volunteer Centres. Distribution will be managed by a single operator appointed by the government.
This procedure will provide the necessary protection level for volunteers who are helping citizens during the spread of the coronavirus infection.
