This resolution will help provide enough medicines to those who need them.
The state will take control of the distribution of medications to treat the novel coronavirus infection. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed the respective resolution. The interim procedures will be in effect through 2020 to raise the efficiency of distributing drugs for coronavirus patients.
The Ministry of Health will oversee the process. Producers and companies importing coronavirus medicines are required to send weekly distribution plans and requests from the regions to the ministry.
The request must identify the drug name and pharmaceutical release form, the planned recipient institution, and the number of confirmed coronavirus patients for whom the medications are purchased.
