The President of Russia instructed the Government to provide support for doctors, nurses, junior medical staff and ambulance drivers who are working under increased workload.
Private hospitals will be eligible for subsidies on incentive payments for medical staff helping coronavirus patients. Mikhail Mishustin signed a resolution to this effect.
Amendments to the rules on providing subsidies (approved by Government Directive No 415 of 2 April 2020 ) are being made due to the fact that in some regions private medical organisations, as well as state hospitals, are treating coronavirus patients. Under the resolution, decisions on allocating funds for incentive payments to private clinics will be made by the heads of the constituent entities.
Another change involves the inclusion of medical staff with non-medical advanced degrees in the recipient category, biologists at clinical laboratories, for example. In some regions such specialists are also engaged in treating coronavirus-patients.
President of Russia Vladimir Putin instructed the Government to support doctors, nurses and junior medical staff, and ambulance drivers who risk their lives and health as they assist people with the coronavirus.
Mikhail Mishustin ordered the heads of the regions to see to it that medical staff receive the payments they are entitled to in the shortest possible time. According to the Prime Minister, as soon as the money arrives in the regions, it must be immediately distributed among the medical workers. There is no need to wait for a pay day.
