During the meeting of the Russian-UAE Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation, the United Arab Emirates expressed interest in expanding Russia’s economic presence in the country and agreed to the opening of a Russian trade office in Abu Dhabi.
A directive was signed on the decision to sign a bilateral agreement by way of exchanging notes on the opening of a Russian trade office in Abu Dhabi.
The draft agreement corresponds to the provisions of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of 29 May, 2014.
The adopted decisions are aimed at promoting economic ties and investment cooperation between the two countries.
