Starting 1 September 2015, export customs duty rates shall be reduced for certain types of seafood, seeds, minerals, unprocessed hides and pelts, timber and related goods, precious and semi-precious stones and metals, ferrous-metal waste and scrap, refined copper, copper-based alloys and hardeners, nickel and related goods, aluminium and related goods, non-precious metals’ waste and goods.

The resolution was drafted by the Ministry of Economic Development in line with Russia’s international commitments and in connection with its accession to the World Trade Organisation.
Export customs duty rates for goods being exported from Russia outside states that are parties to Customs Union agreements, are approved by Government resolution No. 754 of 30 August 2013.
The signed resolution amends these rates.

The draft resolution was approved at a meeting of the sub-commission for customs-tariff and non-tariff regulation and protection of foreign trade of the Government Commission on Economic Development and Integration.
