The Government Import Substitution Commission consists of two sub-commissions: on the civilian economy and on the defence industry. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will be the Commission’s chairman.

The Government, via a resolution, has established the Import Substitution Commission. The Commission is designed to coordinate the activities of federal and regional executive bodies, local governments and organisations in implementing government policy on import substitution.
The Commission consists of two sub-commissions: on the civilian economy and on the defence industry.
The Commission’s members have been approved by a directive.
It is chaired by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
Arkady Dvorkovich and Dmitry Rogozin have been appointed deputy chairmen of the Commission, and chairmen of the civilian economy and the defence industry sub-commissions, respectively.
The Commission will hold meetings at least once every three months.
