The resolution stipulates the allocation of budgetary funding for the design and construction of the National Heliogeophysical Complex of the Russian Academy of Sciences, stage 1, an expanded investment project. This project is being implemented under the state programme Science and Technology Development for 2013-2020.
The budgetary funding will be provided for the design and construction of a radioheliograph, a radar system, a solar coronagraphic telescope and optical instruments, which will be located on the premises of four observatories of the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics, the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, in the Republic of Buryatia and the Irkutsk Region.
Public funding provided for the construction: 1,404,888,000 roubles in 2015; 2,617,029,000 roubles in 2016, and 2,811,521,500 roubles in 2017.
Commissioning deadline: 2017 (2016 for the optical instruments).
The Federal Agency for Scientific Organisations is named as the administrator of the public funds.
The adopted resolution will contribute to the development of science in the field of solar-terrestrial physics and physics of the near-Earth space.
