The Russian Natural Resources Ministry drafted the document.
The Government of the Russian Federation has resolved to establish an expo centre of conservation areas in Baikalsk on the industrial site of the Baikal Pulp and Paper Mill upon completion of the clean-up of accumulated pollution.
The Directive stipulates the establishment of the independent non-profit organisation Conservation Areas of Russia Expo Centre in co-operation with the Green Future environmental protection charity fund, which will perform management functions in the creation of a modern museum, exhibition, information and educational complex. The Russian Natural Resources Ministry is authorised to act as one of the organisation’s founders on behalf of the Russian Federation.
