The agenda of the meeting of the Open Government Commission included the following issues: the organisation of the commission’s work on the Open Data project (creating a special purpose council); the drafting and the approval by the federal executive authorities of a public declaration on the goals and tasks for 2013; the implementation of the Electronic Budget project and creating a single website for Russia’s budgetary system, as well as the implementation of the action plan for the Russian Public Initiative concept.
The meeting was attended by Minister for Open Government Mikhail Abyzov, Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov, Minister of Labour and Social Security Maxim Topilin, Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolai Nikiforov, First Deputy Minister of Finance Tatyana Nesterenko, State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Economic Development Oleg Fomichyov, Rector of the Higher School of Economics Yaroslav Kuzminov, Rector of the New Economic School Sergei Guriyev, as well as members of the Expert Council of the Russian Government and of the Government Commission for the Coordination of the Open Government.
