The centre is designed for the social and medical rehabilitation of people with locomotor disorders and can accommodate 50 people. The two-storey building has rooms with equipment for physiotherapy, bath treatment, workouts and remedial PT, as well as a swimming pool.
“The centre is very important for North Ossetia, as no other neighbouring republic has such a centre, and North Ossetia will gladly share its experience,” Minister of Labour and Social Security Maxim Topilin said.
During his working visit to North Ossetia, the minister also visited the Gerontology Centre and the Kind Heart centre for the social rehabilitation of at-risk children aged 3 to 18.
Maxim Topilin also held a meeting on employment, in particular among young people, and on improving the procedure for certifying people with disabilities in the North Caucasus Federal District.
