This document, drafted by the Federal Tariff Service, provides for changes in the standards for information disclosure by electricity distributors and retailers and formalises the requirements for information content on the processes and methods of disclosure.
Grid utility companies will disclose information on the volume of transformer capacity available for technical connections to users by indicating the current volume of available capacity at electric feeder centres operating at voltages of 35 kV and above and by posting this information in the print media and on the official website of the natural monopoly concerned.
From September 1, 2013, substations and distribution points operating at voltages below 35 kV must also disclose information about the transformer capacity available for technical connections to users, differentiated by voltage levels.
The implementation of this resolution will make the power grid connection process simpler and quicker, more transparent and less costly.
