Minister of Regional Development Igor Slyunyayev has approved an industry-specific programme for the adaptation of composite materials, structures and products in the construction industry of the Russian Federation by Order No. 306 of July 24, 2013.
The order was issued in compliance with a list of presidential instructions handed down on November 12, 2012, as a result of a meeting of the Presidential Council for Economic Modernisation and Innovation Development.
The Ministry’s industry-specific programme is aimed at creating the necessary conditions for forming and developing an advanced industry securing development of innovation and growth of the export potential in the construction sector.
The industry’s development is intended to improve the regulatory infrastructure, maintain and advance a modern R&D system that insures the continuous generation of innovative solutions and the prompt and effective introduction of solutions for the Russian industry, including by creating regional innovation clusters. It is also meant to establish competitive Russian production sites on the basis of advanced R&D, and to implement modernisation projects at enterprises producing competitive and energy efficient composite products.
Deputy Minister of Regional Development Sergei Darkin has been instructed to supervise the implementation of the ministerial order.
