“The inspection uncovered multiple labour contract offences. The most frequent offences are failures to include the wage level and the timeframe for payment in work contracts,” Minister of Labour and Social Security Maxim Topilin said while commenting on the results of the inspection.
“In addition, some employers and employees do not sign employment contracts and as a result wages often go unpaid. Such offences are mostly uncovered in the construction and transport sectors,” he said.
According to an earlier statement made by Maxim Topilin, inspections of construction and transport companies will be conducted more frequently, including due to a road traffic accident near Podolsk.
The Federal Service for Labour and Employment also checked the implementation of President’s Executive Order No 597 dated May 7, 2012, On Measures to Pursue the State Social Policy. “Mass violations concerned with failures to sign employment contracts have been uncovered by labour inspectorates in budgetary educational and healthcare institutions,” he said.
The inspections held by the federal service are aimed at legalising labour relations.
