As per Government Resolution No.1142 of November 3, 2012 On Measures for the Realisation of the Presidential Order No. 1199 of August 21, 2012 On Assessing the Performance of Executive Bodies in the Regions of the Russian Federation, an expert group has been formed on the Regional Development Minister’s order.
The group is headed by Regional Development Minister Igor Slyunyayev and includes representatives of the Presidential Executive Office, the Government Staff, the Ministry of Regional Development, the Interior Ministry, the Federal Agency for Construction, Housing and Utilities, the Federal Service for State Statistics, Education and Science Ministry, the Ministry of Healthcare, the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources, the Economic Development Ministry, the Ministry of Labour and the Finance Ministry.
The expert group will be responsible for:
- establishing individual parameters for assessing the performance of regional executive bodies;
- providing interdepartmental coordination in cooperating with regional executive bodies and federal executive bodies;
- ensuring strategic cooperation and settlement of interdepartmental disputes that occur during the performance assessment of regional executive bodies;
- deciding on the viability and order of calculation of a composite index to measure the performance of regional executive bodies;
- drafting proposals on improving methods and indicators.
