At the air show, the Defence Minister was shown a model of the MS-21 advanced airliner, an advanced prototype unmanned combat air vehicle (UCAV) and a multi-purpose all-weather helicopter.
Sergei Shoigu praised the specifications and performance of Sukhoi Su-35S Flanker-E fighters, which were unveiled at the air show, and said the Russian Air Force would receive a sufficient number of these warplanes.
Sergei Shoigu inspected the stand of the French company Thales Group and was shown the dual-purpose Russian-French Pleaides satellite system. He also visited the stands of MBDA, Safran S. A., Dassault and Diamond Aircraft Industries.
After visiting the Paris Air Show, the Defence Minister held a restricted working meeting with representatives of the Russian aircraft industry.
