On May 14 – 15, 2013 the Ministry of Justice held a meeting on the implementation of Russian legislation in the area of fighting corruption.
The meeting was attended by representatives of all 80 of the Ministry's regional offices. Reports were delivered by officials from the Presidential Executive Office, the Ministry of the Interior, the Investigative Committee, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Federal Migration Service, the Audit Chamber, the Federal Tax Service, as well as representatives of the central office of the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry's Law Academy and aides to the heads of the Ministry’s regional offices.
The meeting focused on issues related to preventing acts of corruption and other offences. Special attention was paid to the implementation of Russian regulatory acts issued in 2012 – 2013, including the Federal Law on Monitoring Correspondence Between Spending and Incomes of State Officials and Other Individuals.
