The reduction in export duties will apply to certain types of seafood, seeds, mineral products, rawhides, wood and wood products, precious and semi-precious stones and metals, scrap iron, refined copper, alloys and master alloys of copper, nickel and nickel items, aluminum and aluminum items and base metals and items.
The draft resolution was developed by the Ministry of Economic Development.
In accordance with Russia’s international obligations due to accession to the World Trade Organisation, the signed resolution reduces Russian export duties on certain types of goods (210 subheadings in the WCO HS), effective 1 September 2014.

The draft resolution was approved on 26 May at a meeting of the Sub-Commission for Customs Tariff and Non-Tariff Regulation and Protective Measures in Foreign Trade of the Russian Government Commission for Economic Development and Integration.
