The directive amends the list of foreign educational institutions recognised in Russia that issue documents on education and (or) qualifications.
The aforementioned list is supplemented by foreign educational institutions in relation to the specified international university ratings published in the third quarter of 2013.
The list includes foreign educational institutions, which ranked and (or) rank in the first 300 positions of the Academic Ranking of World Universities, QS World University Rankings, and The Times Higher Education World University Rankings at the same time, and which are not located on the territories of the states with which the Russian Federation has signed international agreements regulating issues of recognition and (or) the establishment of the equivalence of education and (or) qualifications received in a foreign state.
The list is also supplemented by organisations, which were not previously included in the list owing to their various naming in the international ratings (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Imperial College London, Joseph Fourier University (Grenoble I University) and others).
The correspondence between the education and (or) qualifications received at the newly included organisations and the education and (or) qualifications received in the Russian Federation is specified in the list (in accordance with the list’s general information structure).
