Dmitry Medvedev issues instructions following the President’s executive order on the Russian Public Initiative internet resource

The President’s Executive Order No. 183 On Examining Public Initiatives Submitted by Russian Citizens through the Russian Public Initiative Internet Resource was signed on March 4, 2013.

To implement the executive order, the Prime Minister issued the following instructions:

1. Point 4 of the executive order:

The Ministry of Communications and Mass Media (Nikolai Nikiforov) and the Ministry of Economic Development (Andrei Belousov) should include the Russian Public Initiative internet resource in the infrastructure supporting information and technology communication between information systems used for extending electronically Government and municipal services.

The draft report should be submitted to the Government on April 15 2013.

2. Point 5 of the executive order:

The Ministry of Economic Development (Andrei Belousov) and the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media (Nikolai Nikiforov) jointly with top regional officials (the heads of the supreme executive bodies of state authority) should harmonise their legal acts with this executive order.

The draft report should be submitted to the Government by April 10 2013.

3. The Ministry of Economic Development (Andrei Belousov) and the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media (Nikolai Nikiforov) should submit their proposals regarding the composition of the expert working group at the federal level in accordance with Point 21 of the Rules of Examining Public Initiatives Submitted by Russian Citizens through the Russian Public Initiative Internet Resource approved by the President’s Executive Order No. 183 as of March 4, 2013.

Deadline – April 10, 2013.
