The Government has reported on the fulfilment of Presidential Instruction No. PR-2265 of August 24, 2012 (Clause 1, Sub-clause ācā, Paragraph 3) regarding the safety of air navigation over Moscow.
The Government reported, in part, that a new airspace structure had been developed in order to improve the safety of air navigation in the Moscow zone of the Unified Air Traffic Management System.
Jeppesen, a global leader in navigation information solutions, is conducting an independent audit of the UATMS, focusing on the safety of air navigation, the throughput capacity of the airspace and environmental considerations.
After discussing, analysing and coordinating the audit results with all concerned parties, the Government may return the new airspace structure for improvement before its implementation.
