Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin talked by telephone with Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov.

The prime ministers reviewed current issues of Russian-Kazakhstani trade and economic cooperation, including the implementation of joint projects, as well as interaction within the Eurasian Economic Union.

Mikhail Mishustin and Alikhan Smailov focused on joint COVID-19 response efforts.
