The meeting took place on February 12, 2013.

1. Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets and Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov are to submit proposals aimed at raising teachers’ salaries in all regions as stipulated by Presidential Executive Order No. 597 of May 7, 2012.

Proposals should be submitted by March 31, 2013.

Reports on the most problematic regions are to be submitted by March 15, 2013.

2. The heads of the higher executive bodies of the Russian regions are to control the fulfillment of commitments to raise teachers’ salaries to the regional average.
