His message reads, in part:

“Esteemed Mr Maripov, on behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation, and me personally, I would like to congratulate you on your appointment as Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic.

“Russia and the Kyrgyz Republic are linked by friendship, partnership and allied relations. I hope your work as the head of the Government will facilitate the strengthening of bilateral trade, economic, investment and scientific-technical cooperation and the further deepening of integration in the Eurasian Economic Union.

“I wish you, esteemed Mr Maripov, good health, wellbeing and success in your position of responsibility.”
