Mikhail Mishustin signs documents on resuming train services with Belarus, increasing the number of flights to Minsk and restarting air traffic with Azerbaijan and Armenia

This decision was made at the recommendation of the emergency response centre for preventing the import and spread of the new coronavirus infection. From 8 February 2021, passenger train services will resume on a reciprocal basis on the Minsk-Moscow-Minsk route and also on the Moscow-Kaliningrad and Kaliningrad-St Petersburg routes, with stopovers in Minsk. As of 8 February, the number of regular Moscow-Minsk flights will increase from three to five per week on a reciprocal basis. Air services will also resume on a reciprocal basis from airports in Rostov-on-Don and St Petersburg to Minsk, with each airport operating one flight per week.

From 8 February, the number of regular flights to Kyrgyzstan will also increase on a reciprocal basis from one flight per week to three flights per week, on the Moscow-Bishkek route.

It was also decided to restart international air traffic with Azerbaijan (Moscow-Baku, two flights per week) and Armenia (Moscow-Yerevan, four flights per week) as of 15 February 2021 on a reciprocal basis.
