Excerpts from the transcript of the conversation:

Dmitry Medvedev’s conversation with the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang

Dmitry Medvedev: Welcome, Mr Premier of the State Council. We have a good opportunity to exchange views on the status of our relations.

I recall my visit to China in December last year. Thank you once again for your hospitable reception and everything that was done then. During President Putin’s recent visit to Beijing, China and Russia signed a comprehensive set of documents and started talks to form a partnership between the Eurasian Economic Union and China. Our colleagues are also continuing to cooperate. Recently, Vice Premier of the State Council Liu Yandong visited Russia and took part in the opening of a museum dedicated to the 6th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. I also confirm my invitation for you to visit St Petersburg in November this year to hold the 21st Government Heads’ regular meeting.

We have an extensive agenda and many contacts, which reflect the depth of our relations of strategic partnership and cooperation.

Li Keqiang (via interpreter): Dear Mr Prime Minister, we are now implementing the agreements we have reached. This year, we jointly celebrate the 15th anniversary of signing our comprehensive agreement. In light of this event, our cooperation has been expanded and deepened. Today, I’m happy to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.
