On signing a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the United States in Management Personnel Training

This document was developed by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in connection with the expiry date on 31 December 2013, of a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the United States in Management Personnel Training for 2010-2013, signed on 11 November  2010 in Yokohama, Japan, under a mutual exchange in accordance with the National Plan of Management Staff Training from the Economic Entities of the Russian Federation for 2007/08-2014/15 (hereinafter referred to as the “National Plan”), approved by  Government Resolution No 177 of 24 March  2007.

The signing of the Memorandum is necessary for further Russian-US cooperation as part of the above National Plan and to affirm bilateral interest in the development of mutually beneficial economic relations.

The Memorandum is not an international agreement and does not imply rights and/or obligations on either side under international or domestic law.

The activities stipulated by the Memorandum will be funded within the appropriations provided by the Ministry of Economic Development for the implementation of activities under the National Plan.
