This document was initiated by the Government of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania and submitted to the Government of the Russian Federation by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

Thereby the Government of the Russian Federation gives its consent to the signing of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania (Russian Federation) and the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia on Socioeconomic, Scientific and Technological, and Cultural Cooperation.

The agreement will result in increased foreign trade turnover between the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania and the Republic of South Ossetia, the shaping of a common social and cultural space, and the implementation of bilateral projects in healthcare and culture.

The document will also promote the signing of cooperation agreements between businesses operating in the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania and the Republic of South Ossetia.
