Laying wreath at the Monument to Fallen Heroes
The Martyrs’ Lane is a memorial complex in the Nagorny (Upland) Memorial Park in central Baku dedicated to the victims of the 20 January 1990 tragedy in Azerbaijan’s capital. The memorial includes a common grave and the Eternal Flame monument built in the oriental style. The Martyrs’ Lane is the central memorial to all heroes who fell for the independence and prosperity of modern Azerbaijan.
